Sanaa Baxamoosa is a seasoned water and sustainable development specialist with over 15 years of expertise. She currently serves as the Director of External Relations at Hisaar Foundation and is an integral part of the senior leadership team. Sanaa brings a comprehensive academic background and hands-on experience in building and managing networks and platforms around water as well as programs and projects on low-cost water solutions for communities across Pakistan. Sanaa led a significant 3-year project on Women and Water in Central and South Asia, collaborating with George Washington University and the US State Department. This initiative spanned five countries—Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan, Afghanistan, Pakistan, and India—aiming to foster social capital among women water professionals. Sanaa's impactful contributions extend to her role as the Country Network Manager for Cap-Net Pakistan, focusing on capacity development for sustainable water management. Earlier in her career, she served as the Business Development Associate at Micro Drip Private Limited from 2007-2009, working on providing low-cost drip irrigation systems to small farmers in Tharparkar. Sanaa's wealth of experience is further showcased through her paper presentations in seminars and conferences, as well as her appearances on various television and talk shows.
