Elizabeth Petheo is an internationally respected expert in resilient infrastructure, disaster risk reduction, and public policy at Miyamoto International. She specializes in bridging high-level policy and practical implementation by developing context-sensitive solutions aligned with national priorities and international standards. Elizabeth has helped governments build institutional capacity, create risk-informed infrastructure policies, and design resilience frameworks. She leads regional and global disaster management strategies and partnerships and has directed resilience projects in Asia-Pacific and expanded disaster mitigation programs in Latin America and the Caribbean. Elizabeth holds an MBA from MIT Sloan, an MA from Brandeis University’s Heller School, and a BA from the University of St. Thomas.
