Kirill Vasiliev is a Senior Education Specialist at the Education Global Practice of the World Bank. For the last twenty years, Kirill has been involved in education policy development and project implementation in low- and middle-income countries in Europe, Central Asia, South Asia, and Africa. Technical areas of Kirill’s expertise include skills development, expanding access to basic education, and improving quality of learning, as well as higher education for regional development. Kirill led the preparation of several reports on education development issues and has experience in applied research for the private sector and teaching in schools. Kirill is an economist and holds a Master's Degree in Education Management from The Aberdeen University, Scotland.
