Throughout his career, he has worked with leading organizations including UNICEF, UNESCO, various international NGOs, and Rural Support Programmes across Pakistan and the region. His professional journey has been deeply rooted in advancing safe, inclusive, and quality education, particularly in emergency and post-disaster contexts. He has played a key role in the planning, policy development, and ground-level implementation of education programmes during major humanitarian crises, including the 2005 earthquake, the 2010 and 2022 floods. As a committed education and school safety specialist, he has contributed to the development of national frameworks for school safety, conducted risk assessments, and led capacity-building initiatives for education officials, school management committees, and communities. His work has consistently emphasised building resilience, promoting child-centred and gender-sensitive approaches, and ensuring continuity of learning for the most vulnerable children in disaster-affected areas.
