Mina Zamand is an Economist with the World Bank’s Education team in Islamabad, with over 15 years of experience in education, social protection, and human capital development. Her portfolio includes operations and analytics on foundational learning, digital systems development in education, climate-resilient school infrastructure, and private school markets. She has also served as the South Asia focal point for gender in education, advising teams on gender-responsive approaches. She has also held roles with Foreign Common Health and Development Office (FCDO), and the University of Oxford.
