Mr. Muhammad Khalid, a native of District Nowshera, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, was born in 1978. He joined the Provincial Management Service (PMS) in September 2005 as a BPS-17 officer and has since demonstrated exemplary leadership and commitment throughout his career in public service. Over the years, he has served in several key administrative and policy-making positions in the Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, including Secretary, Information and Public Relations Department; Secretary, Science & Technology and Information Technology Department; Special Secretary, Elementary and Secondary Education Department; Deputy Commissioner, District Orakzai; Deputy Commissioner, District Buner; Director General, Monitoring & Evaluation, Planning & Development Department; Director General, Provincial Disaster Management Authority, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa; Director General, FATA Disaster Management Authority; and Director, Provincial Disaster Management Authority, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. In addition to his roles in public administration, Mr. Khalid possesses substantial experience in the development sector, having led the FCDO-funded “Bridging Technical Assistance for GOAL (B-TAG)” project implemented by Institute of Social & Policy Sciences (I-SAPS) in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. His vast experience, visionary leadership, and unwavering dedication have significantly contributed to the formulation and implementation of progressive policies and initiatives across multiple sectors in the province.
